About the Library

The Peninsula Public Library was chartered by the State of New York as a school district library in 1951. We serve the residents of School District 15 with materials in all formats and offer a substantial variety of programs throughout the year. Our purpose is to provide for the educational and recreational needs of our patrons. Our goal is to make your library an effective, educational, informational, cultural and recreational force within our community. Members can view our Catalog and reserve books through the Internet or check our Newsletter page for information regarding the times and dates of activities. The Peninsula Public Library's Board Meetings are usually held on Thursdays at 7:00 PM.
